There are several ways you can help further the mission of the Leadership Roundtable.
- First and most important is to be an active member of your parish community. Talk with fellow parishioners. Talk with your pastor and pastoral staff. Talk with your parish pastoral council. Talk with your parish finance council. What needs exist in your parish in the areas of management, finance, and human resource development? What skills exist among your parishioners that could be better utilized? How can volunteers work together more effectively?
- Another possibility is to step back and look at your diocese as a whole. Are parishes thriving? Are schools healthy? Are women and men joining religious life and the priesthood? Are lay ministers being trained well? What are the specific needs of your diocese in the areas of management, finance, and human resource development? Talk with fellow parishioners, with neighboring parishes, and with diocesan leaders. Talk with your diocesan pastoral council. Work together to bring the gifts and talents of the laity in the areas of management, finance, and human resource development to help promote excellence and best practices in your diocese.
- Become a Partner in Excellence and pledge that your parish, diocese, or Catholic non-profit organization will implement the 55 codes that ensure it is living out best practices.
- Consider the consultancy services offered by the team of high-level professionals through the Leadership Roundtable and how they may help provide a roadmap to better temporal practices in your organization.
